'The Flame Within'
With my Italian roots from the northern part of Italy near Venice my grandparents were wine growers. I was blessed to get passed the passion of growing plants and learnt from an early age that it has all to do with the roots. Good roots will yield great grapes and the same with lilacs. Grapes, Olives and Lilacs are all closely related in their yields. The day you plant them the yield only comes later. Sometimes it may be a couple of years and sometimes as in olives, many. But the reward of the crop far outweighs the waiting.
Choose your plants well for they will last a lifetime.
'The Flame Within' is the passion we have for our lilac nursery and our children.
We are teaching our 6 children the passions we have for plants and hope that some day they will preserve our hard work of putting together so many lilacs in a single collection.
Working with plants everyday for us is a not work but a way of life.
