These biodiscs that you see below allow a reduction in water usage, a reduction in weeding and no herbicides are used at our nursery. They are also reusable when a plant gets sold and made of cocoa bean shells. Tests we did in 2009 gave us data of reducing most weeds in pots by about 90-95%, water by 25% and fertilizer by 14%.
As of 2010 all of the nursery will be transformed with these discs.
